Let's face it: the metrosexual is a con , ladies. Sure you want your guys to clean some and smells good, but when they start knowing more about moisturizers and lotions and whine about their looks and their skin. You are starting to doubt the man's sexuality, ladies starts thinking : he's one curler away from borrowing them. No Girls would like her boyfriend to start going overly hysterical about prettifying himself or fuss to much about what he's eating, register too much to do about the heat, how much he's gained weight, or incessantly calorie counts. next thing you know, you should be buying night creams for both of you, and then sharing your womans magazine with him.
How to spot a Metrosexual to a closeted gay?
Let's drop the act here: the term's been shanghaied these days by dishonest, closeted gay men who do not want to out themselves.Whoever coined the word intended it for the guy who knew his way around items and programs for grooming and health, sure--- but when it's your obviously closeted brother calling himself that, while cuddling his new guy best friend, better be alert on that.... LOL
Men should not be above prettyfying themselves. The trick is to update the classic men stuff, without losing any of the primeval-testosterone-y character that woman finds infinitely attractive.
Men eats everything as long as it is healthy, except, if your boyfriend is a PETA member. Men care about a little in health but not overdo it, to the point that let the girls walk 4 kilometre just to find a vegetarian food.
When It comes to hair, Men try to keep it simple, after applying a hair gel, wax or oil, he doesn't care what will happen to their hair when the gust wind blows the hair. As long as the hair is low-maintenance (like an ideal girl :P) then it should be fine.
When it comes to clothes, the coat and the jacket are two things that have become a great grooming idioms for men. Doesn't care that much on the brand name.
Real men don't showered with perfume. It's okay to spritz some scent every now and then. But always remember the basics--- put on some cologne so much that the scent would be a hint, thereby being more intriguing than suffocating.
Men can be stylish but not tend to over do it. Men is lazy and they want style that they will look good with a little effort.

The way forward's been dark for some time.
